The Pierre Governor soccer teams both had successful seasons with both teams having 10 wins. As the postseason concludes, the Govs both place four on the All-ESD girls and boys teams.
On the boys side, the Governors get three seniors on the All-ESD team with Steven Blanchette, goalie Jacob Leiferman and Weston Northrup. Jacoby LaRoche, a sophomore, also makes the All-ESD team for the Governors. Senior Cayden Morris is one of the two honorable mentions. Pierre is tied with Watertown for the second most players from one team to represent on the All-conference squad.
For the Governor girls, they also pick up three seniors on this year’s team. Aly Hutchinson, Gracelyn Taylor and Ireland Templeton along with junior Natalie Flottmeyer all are awarded the All-ESD team. The Governors had the second most from one team with Harrisburg having five girls place All-ESD. Only three sophomores made this year’s team with the rest being juniors and seniors.
