The Potter County Battlers would come in to Fort Pierre and knock off the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes with scores of 25-14, 25-14 and 25-23.
The Lady Buffaloes nearly forced a fourth set, but fell for the second time this week in a sweep at home, as the Battlers would improve its record to 8-4 and have won four straight heading into the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament in Miller on Saturday. Stanley County drops to 9-7 on the season and have lost back-to-back games, but will have the weekend off and not play on a Saturday for the first time all season.
The Lady Buffaloes are though, back on the court on Monday taking on the Crow Creek Chieftains. Varsity first serve will be around 7:30 from the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
