PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will get an update on Covid-19 in special business before considering approval of a four-item consent calendar. Three items of unfinished business await the Commission tonight. Commissioners will consider awarding bids for aggregate base course and water department items for the 2021 work season. The Commission will consider approval of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade route and will consider a lease agreement for use of the Emergency Vehicle Operation course on the north end of the Pierre Regional Airport property. Commissioners will also get an update on the Wastewater Plant redesign project. Included in the update is a request to bid the redesign, easements with the state Game, Fish and Parks Department, two amendments to an agreement with Burns and McDonnell and a request to purchase a dewatering press. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 P.M.
