PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting Tuesday afternoon at the Hughes County Courthouse. Commissioners will approve claims, minutes from two previous meetings and Tuesday’s agenda before considering approval of a raffle request for the Militiamen Gun Raffle. The Commission will discuss the Cattleman’s resolution and consider renewal of malt beverage licenses in the county. Budget discussions for 2026 will begin along with a discussion on mosquito management in the county. Commissioners will consider action on two Highway Department items and will discuss a date for a summer employee picnic. The Commission will also discuss Good Friday as a holiday, any personnel action and reports from Commissioners and county officials.
