PIERRE, (KCCR) — The transition to a new vehicle registration system for the Hughes County Treasurer’s Office hasn’t been as smooth as expected. Finance Officer Thomas Oliva says he was hoping the transition to the state’s new 6-0-5 Drive system would be going smoother…
Oliva says Legislative Audit has been involved to help. He says customers have been frustrated with the slower process times as workers try to get a grasp on the system. Oliva says it should go better once the kinks are worked out of the system. He says other offices across the state have changed office hours for the next few months due to the system change.
