
PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is holding it’s March meeting tonight, a week later than usual. The Board will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board and public comments will follow along with a report from the Riggs Student Senate. Board members will recognize two teachers for recent accomplishments and will give first reading to a Language Arts Curriculum recommendation. The Board will consider action on the Consolidated Board of Equalization and give second and final reading to revision’s to the District’s criminal background check policy. The agenda includes updates and action on a construction manager at-risk and architect contract, declaring surplus property, contract items, resignations, open enrollments and a waiver of administrative rule. The Board will also meet in executive session for negotiations. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 at the District Administration Building.
