Pamperien replaces Brian Cowles who resigned in December after 21 months in Pierre. Pamperien is arriving to run Pierre Regional in the middle of the city’s Essential Air Service rebidding period and a runway rehabilitation project. He has experience in the E-A-S program. San Luis Valley Regional is an E-A-S airport and currently has Denver Air Connection as it’s provider. That two year contract was awarded last June. Pierre’s current contract expires at the end of May.
