The Stanley County Buffalo basketball teams would get a win from the boys at home 58-26 while the Lady Buffaloes would fall to a tough Bennett County squad 50-16 on Thursday.
The Buffaloes boys, playing Chamberlain at home, wanted to make a statement before having over a week off. They did just that with a 32 point win on the night. The Buffaloes improved to 13-4 on the season and are now off until Tuesday, February 18 as they hit the final three games of the season. Chamberlain drops to 4-10.
Stanley County Lady Buffs ran into a buzzsaw in Bennett County who is now 12-2 on the season. Stanley County drops to 2-15 as they head into the final two weeks of the regular season. The Lady Buffaloes have three games remaining with just one game on the road.
The Lady Buffaloes will travel to Bowdle on Tuesday to face the North Central Thunder in its final road game of the regular season. Tip off will be around 7:45.
