The Pierre Governor wrestling teams wrap up the dual season tonight on the road to face the Mitchell Kernels as the Governor boys look for one final win to make the dual state tournament.
The Governor girls will be trying for an undefeated dual season as they sit at 7-0 after the win against the Yankton Gazelles on Tuesday. The Govs will travel to Yankton for a tournament on Friday before having the ESD individual tournament next week Thursday.
The Governor boys are now 7-5 in duals and need one final win to ensure a chance at making the dual state tournament. Mitchell is 3-12 in duals so the Govs won’t get help in seed points, but a loss would be detrimental to the state dual chances.
The night starts with a rolling schedule at 5:00 for JV followed by the girls and then boys varsity at Mitchell High School.
