PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting for the final time in January tonight. The Commission will hear the recommendation for air service for the Essential Air Service program. Cities participating in the program are permitted to make a recommendation of which carrier they would like to see serve the city. Three airlines are currently seeking Pierre’s contract. The Commission will consider a request to purchase electric materials and a change order and final payment to close out the outdoor pool project. Commissioners will also consider an engineering agreement with H-D-R Engineering for construction administration of the Euclid Avenue Water and Wastewater project and introduction will be given to a plat for two lots in the Gates’ Subdivision for Sully Avenue, L-L-C. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
