The Stanley County Buffaloes return home for a boys and girls doubleheader tonight hosting the Jones County Coyotes in the second home game of the new year.
The Lady Buffaloes again look to stop is losing streak as it has hit nine and are 1-9 on the season. The Coyotes, on the other side, are 5-2 but dropped its last game out to Wall after winning four in a row. The Lady Buffaloes will also host Sully Buttes on Thursday before traveling to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Saturday in a three game week.
The Buffalo boys team is coming off its three game weekend, with three straight wins to claim the Jones County Tournament last Saturday. The Buffs have now won seven in a row and are 8-1 on the season. The Coyotes are 5-6 on the season and finished in sixth place at the tournament over the weekend. The Coyotes dropped the fifth place game to Bennett County 48-44. Stanley County beat the Warriors on Thursday 71-42.
Tip off from the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre will be around 6:15 for the girls game and the boys game to follow.
