Noem Reflects On Time As Governor, Accomplishments In Likely Final State Of The State Address

PIERRE, (KCCR) — South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem gave what may likely be her final State of the State address Tuesday to a joint session of the South Dakota Legislature. Noem used much of the speech to reflect on her accomplishments as Governor….

Noem, as in previous years, used a top-ten list of bullet points to highlight those accomplishments and touched briefly on pending policy such as Educational Savings Accounts…

Noem also addressed her pending possible nomination as Homeland Security Secretary and the bond she’s had with Lieutenant Governor and successor Larry Rhoden…

Noem presented a baseball bat to Rhoden and balls to the Legislative encouraging both to “knock it out of the park” this session.
