The South Dakota High School Activities Association has announced dates for the 2025 High School Umpire Certification Clinics for softball held throughout the state, which includes a stop in Pierre.
Clinicians are Steve Riswold of Sioux Falls and Brett Distel of Box Elder. The first stop is in Brookings on February 1, but there will be stops in Webster, Douglas, Sioux Falls and Yankton. The Pierre stop will be on Saturday, March 15 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 at the American Legion Cabin in Pierre. The need is always great for officials and it’s your chance to be an umpire and help the next generation of players continue playing the game they love. The clinic again is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 15 at the American Legion Cabin in Pierre. You can see attached the full list of clinics.
