The Stanley County Buffaloes will be in Murdo over the next three days for the Jones County Tournament as the Buffs get the first game of the tournament facing the Bennett County Warriors.
Stanley County is 5-1 and have won four in a row with its latest win 66-33 over McLaughlin last Thursday. Now, the Buffs look for a strong Jones County Tournament in which the bracket could be favorable. Stanley County will face the 2-5 Bennett County Warriors in the first round. Their side of the bracket also has Philip, who they beat, and Crazy Horse. Lyman faces White River and Kadoka takes on Jones County in the other half of the bracket.
Stanley County and Bennett County are the first game of the day with a 1:00 tip off. It will be followed by Crazy Horse and Philip at 2:30. Then tonight it will be Lyman against White River at 6:30 and Jones County and Kadoka at 8:00, all at the Harold Thune Auditorium in Murdo for the 57th annual Jones County Tournament.
