Two long weeks of a break and the Pierre Wrestling teams are back in action as the Huron Tigers come to town to face the Governors.
The Pierre girls have not wrestled since the Rapid City tournament which took place on Friday and Saturday, December 13-14. Now, the Govs will have to quickly get back into wrestling shape with a dual against ESD foe, Huron. Huron last wrestled on Saturday, December 21 at the Madison Invite. The Tigers have been scheduled for three duals, but only Mitchell has been in the ESD.
The Governor boys will look for a 4-0 record in duals taking on the Tigers. Pierre wrestled on Thursday, December 19 in Harrisburg before the Christmas and New Year’s break. Huron is 2-2 in duals but have losses to both Tea and Watertown inside the ESD. The Tiger boys also last wrestled on the 21 at the Madison Invite.
The varsity duals will start at 6:00 at Riggs High School.
