Former Oahe Capital and Pierre native, Carter Sanderson has made plenty of stops and has taken a step up every year for the last four year which has led him to the USHL playing for the Muskegon Lumberjacks this year. In his first season, the Lumberjacks are in first place in the league at the Christmas break.

The USHL season runs through mid April with the playoffs beginning follow the conclusion of the regular season.
