Zabel Selected to AP FCS All-America Team

Pierre native and North Dakota State offensive lineman Grey Zabel would receive a First Team spot on the FCS All-America team for the 2024 season.

Zabel has played in every game this year and has played in every game for the last three seasons for North Dakota State. Zabel also played in 11 games his sophomore year and was only cut short of playing more in the spring of 2020, his freshman year because of an injury. Over the course of his career at NDSU, Zabel has started in four of the five positions on the offensive line while playing all five spots during his collegiate career.

Zabel is joined on the All-America Team by fellow South Dakotan, Gus Miller, an offensive lineman for South Dakota State. Zabel also was selected for the Missouri Valley Football All-Conference Team at the end of November and invited to play in the senior bowl in February.

North Dakota State will face South Dakota State in Fargo on Saturday in the FCS Semifinals.
