Hughes County Commission Approves Surplussing, Sale Of Work Truck To Town Of Blunt

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Town of Blunt in central Hughes County is getting a Christmas gift early from the Hughes County Commission. Highway Superintendent Trent Arbach say the Blunt reached out regarding a vehicle the county has that they are interested in…

Arbach says the truck has 127-thousand miles on it and the Kelley Blue Book value of the vehicle is 41-hundred dollars. Commissioner Bill Abernathy says the deal should work out good for both Blunt and Hughes County. Commissioners approved surplussing the truck and selling to Blunt on a five-zero vote.
