Another tournament win for the Pierre Governor girls wrestling team in Rapid City this weekend while the boys would finish in ninth place overall.

The Gov girls would score 200.5 points staying 22 points ahead of second place Bismarck who finished with 178.5 points. Pierre would get two individual champions for the weekend as Dani Ringstmeyer would win her second tournament while Ireland Templeton would pick up a championship which included her 100^th career win in the process. Shaylee Speck, Lexie Hillmer and Abbi Lewis each made the championship match of their respective weight classes.

The Pierre boys would get ninth in Rapid City scoring a total of 113.5 while Sturgis would grab a second tournament win scoring a 235. Alex Oedekoven had the best Governor finish once again as he made the championship match in 132, but would fall in the bout. Elijah Boutchee would get fourth in the 215 and Gable Uhrig finished in seventh in the 106 as the three Governors to finish in place matches.
