PIERRE, (KCCR) — Fort Pierre-based management and consulting firm MaxStrat has appointed Dr. Rhea Waldman to its staff. Waldman will be MaxStrat’s Client Executive/Executive Director. Waldman will be departing as Executive Director of the South Dakota Discovery Center in Pierre. MaxStrat C-E-O Chris Maxwell says Waldman will bring a wealth of experience, bold vision and a proven track record of building and growing impactful organizations. MaxStrat works with non-profit agencies and organizations and is hopeful Waldman’s background will empower nonprofits to maximize potential and deliver lasting change. Waldman will be departing the South Dakota Discovery Center after eight years, where she was able to turn the Center into hub for learning and community engagement for central South Dakota. At the Discovery Center, she has also been working with the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe and City of Fort Pierre on establishing portions of the Tatanka Trail.
