According to the report about half of the city’s 157 employees were interviewed for the wage study. The new plan will offer up 27 pay grades for employees. In Plan A, the annualized cost to start the changes is 363-thousand 577-dollars or just over four-percent of the city’s current payroll costs. For Plan B, the cost is 216-thousand, 47 dollars or two-point-three-four percent. One-time equity adjustments will make up two-point-four percent of adjusted payroll costs. An alternative adjustment would cost one-point-eight percent of adjusted payroll. Gronlund says employees did most of the work for the survey…
