Pierre has used the Ford Police Interceptor S-U-V before for police vehicles having transitioned from the Interceptor to the Dodge Durago. The Pierre Police Department also has a few larger Chevy Tahoe patrol vehicles to help deal with snow and steep grades in the winter. Ford Police Interceptor S-U-V’s are law enforcement rated vehicles based on the Ford Explorer chassis platform.
