The Mobridge-Pollock Lady Tigers used a long run in both sets one and two to help secure a three set win over the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes Thursday with scores 25-8, 25-17 and 25-13.
Stanley County would play the first 15 points even with the Lady Tigers, but Mobridge-Pollock went a deep run to secure a first set win handily, before taking off after a 13-13 second set. Mobridge-Pollock would score 12 of the last 16 points in set two and the Lady Buffs couldn’t comeback in the third set as the season comes to an end at 15-13. Seniors Raegan Taylor, Liberty Harrington, Caycee Knight, Brylee Kafka, Isabella Talamantez, Journey Schnee and Reese Hand end their volleyball careers with the Lady Buffs.
Mobridge-Pollock improves to 27-8 and advances to the SoDak 16 where they will meet Winner in the 8-9 matchup.
