The Pierre Governor volleyball team will travel out to Sioux Falls tonight to face the Jefferson Cavaliers in the final game of the season.
The Governors will face one of the top five teams in the state as the Cavaliers come in at 17-4 and in third place in the standings. It is possible this is a preview of the SoDak 16. Harrisburg, O’Gorman, Jefferson, Washington and Watertown have separated themselves from the rest of AA, however, the Governors can put a strong showing against the Cavs to gain confidence heading into the SoDak 16 next Thursday. A win will be exceptionally more beneficial both in standings and confidence. Jefferson has just one loss to a team outside of the top five of the AA standings.
