PIERRE, (KCCR) — Registration is open for current and former legislators wanting to take part in a celebration of the 100 session of the South Dakota Legislature. A program for legislators along with former and current Legislative Research Council staff, interns and pages will be held in Pierre on April 12th of 2025. Events will begin at the State Capitol with a program from two to three pm. Photograph opportunities will be available from 11 am to two pm, before the Rotunda program. A reception will be held starting at four pm at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center with a dance at six pm. The 147th Army Band will be performing during the Ramkota event. Tickets are available for purchase online and are 20-dollars. People registering will be required to designate their affiliation with the legislature on the sign-up page.
