PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. With Halloween just a few days away the Commission has a scary light agenda to dispatch of. In special business a proclamation will be made for V-F-W Buddy Poppy Day as Veteran’s Day approaches on November 11th. The largest agenda item is the consent calendar, which while is approved with a single vote, contains minutes from the October 22nd meeting, the claims and three raffle requests. The raffle requests have been filed by American Legion Post Eight, the Tourism Coalition of South Dakota and the Oahe Hockey Association. There are no unfinished or new business items on tonight’s agenda. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
