The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would fall in five sets to the Highmore-Harrold Pirates as the Pirates celebrated senior night in grand fashion winning 23-25, 25-11, 23-25, 25-21 and 15-12.
The Pirates would hang tough in the first and third sets to keep it close, but controlled the second set and used a big run in set four to beat the Lady Buffs sending it to a decisive fifth set. Highmore-Harrold jumped out to a 7-1 lead and it was too much for Stanley County to overcome as they drop its third straight and fifth out of seven. Stanley County is now 13-12 while Highmore-Harrold improves to 10-16.
Stanley County will conclude the season with a road trip to Jones County on Tuesday. First serve from Murdo will be around 7:30.
