The Sully Buttes Chargers have just three matches remaining in the regular season and will host the Herreid/Selby Area Wolverines in the final home game of the regular season tonight.
The Chargers are 3-20 and need a win to push themselves back inside the top eight to host a play-in game, otherwise the Chargers will be on the road for the entire playoffs including the first game. However, Herreid/Selby Area, at 15-9 and in second place in the 6B standings has the worst record of the three teams remaining on the schedule. The Chargers face Hitchcock-Tulare who has just two losses on the season and Mobridge-Pollock who already has 20 wins on the season. It’s a tall task for the Chargers. Sully Buttes seniors will play its final home game of the regular season as Olivia Olson, Sheridan Voorhees, Annaliese Van Zee and Payge Bakker will be honored tonight.
