Governors Drop Four Set Match in Huron

The Pierre Governor volleyball team has dropped back-to-back matches coming out of the two week break with a four set loss to Huron on Tuesday. Scores were 25-17, 25-12, 24-26 and 25-12.

Huron would be led by Samantha Mangmoradeth with 12 kills as Ally Davis had 11 and Aurora Dreyer had 10 as the three in double figures for the 5-9 Tigers who stop a five match losing streak and beat the Governors in the first of two meetings this year with the second of the two coming two weeks from Tuesday in Pierre. Pierre was led by Jaycee Bauer and Campbell Cronin each having eight kills while Addison Soma had six for the Govs who drop to 5-7 on the year.

Pierre will be back on the road against another Tiger team, this time to undefeated Harrisburg on Thursday. First serve is at 7:00.
