The Pierre Governor tennis team would wrap up the ESD tournament finishing in eighth place with Eliza Mayer in flight five picking up a consolation championship.
Mayer would be the only singles competitor to get a win on Tuesday at the ESD as she would go 2-1 after dropping the first match of the flight five tournament before winning 8-6 and 8-4 over Brandon Valley and Yankton. Breanna Tedrow in flight two, Elise Bowers in flight three, Amara Dell in flight four and Adrian Hand in flight six would fall in the consolation semifinal.
In doubles, Tedrow and Dell and in flight two and Mayer and Bowers in flight three would both fall in its first round and consolation semifinal matches as they would go 0-2 on the day.
Pierre would finish in eighth place, ahead of Brookings. Mitchell would win the team score with a total of 321 points ahead of Yankton.
