Stanley County Returns Home for Remainder of Season

The Stanley County Buffaloes are at the halfway point of the regular season and now will be at home for the remaining games starting with hosting Gregory tonight.

Both teams are coming in at 1-3 on the season after the Buffs picked up a big 44-8 win over Redfield last Friday. The Gorillas dropped a 28-8 decision to Bon Homme on the road last week. Gregory’s win is over Platte-Geddes with a 30-26 victory two weeks ago. While both teams are 1-3, the Buffs are sitting in 14th place in the 9AA standings while Gregory is at 20th and on the outside looking in at the playoffs. Max Foth, head coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes says you blinked and have the season is gone…

Witt Meyers, Blaize Frost and Weston Prince are returning to the lineup this week, while Colton Brady will be a game time decision. But as Gregory is 1-3, Foth says it’s pretty easy again to not overlook this opponent…

Foth says they need to make sure they’re lined up correctly defensively…

Kickoff from Ole Williamson Field is at 7:00 tonight.
