The Pierre Governor tennis team will host a triangular today at Griffin Park as Aberdeen Roncalli and Rapid City Central will be in town from opposite sides of the state.
The Governors are going to be trying to get a couple of wins after some tough competition over the weekend. The Governors were swept by Mitchell and Jefferson and had just two wins in each of the Harrisburg and Sioux Falls Christian duals. The Governors are 1-9 in duals and will see Roncalli who is a Class A opponent and potential seeding will be up for grabs, while the Govs can play loose against Rapid City Central who is in AA and wins and losses won’t matter when it comes to the state tournament.
The day begins with an 11:00 AM start between Pierre and Aberdeen Roncalli and then after 3:00 between Pierre and Rapid City Central.
