The top ranked and defending 9AA state champions Parkston Trojans showed why they are still the team to beat on Friday night, rolling through the Stanley County Buffaloes 54-16.
Colten Kramer had four first quarter touchdowns with three receiving and a punt return touchdown as the Trojans would put a stranglehold on the game leading 34-0. Parkston had a 48-0 lead at the break, but the Buffaloes continued to fight to keep the game from ending in a 50 point loss. Colton Brady would get his second touchdown of the season in the third quarter to get Stanley County on the board. Brady would add another the other touchdown and Stanley County completed both two point conversions making it a 48-16 before the Trojans would get one more score to finish out the game.
Stanley County drops to 0-2 on the season and will travel to Frederick to face Leola/Frederick who is also 2-0. It will be their homecoming night. Kickoff is at 7:00.
