Five seniors are back for one more season as the Pierre Governor golf team has a lot of expectations coming into the year which begins on Monday in Brandon.
Between the five of Luke Olson, Nick Bothun, Sawyer Sonnenschein, Jack Bartlett and Lincoln Houska, they have all either won or competed within every tournament and event they’ve played in over their varsity playing careers. Last season the Governors finished in third place as a team at the state tournament while placing both Bothun and Olson in the top ten. The Governors placed second back in 2022.
