The 14U Pierre Post 8 team will be in Watertown this weekend looking for a strong run at the state tournament running Thursday through Sunday.
Pierre 14U finished the regular season at 13-16, but have lost seven of eight heading into the state tournament. The Eights will look to get the early season success back when they opened the season at 11-4. There are three pools with the winners advancing along with three wildcard teams. The top two teams receive a bye and seeds three through six will have to win three games on Sunday to win the championship.
Pierre will face Rapid City Post 320 at 5:00 on Thursday before seeing Renner at 2:30 on Friday and then finishing pool play at 9:30 on Saturday against Sioux Falls Post 15. You can see the full schedule below.
