Winning Streak Ends for Zap at Seven

The Spearfish Sasquatch would get the win over the Oahe Zap at Hyde Stadium on Thursday with a four run ninth inning to win 7-5 ending the winning streak at seven.

All four runs in the ninth inning were unearned as Oahe had two errors in the ninth and four in total of the game to stop the winning streak. Garren Gladhill and Vince Polizzi would both double while Tyler Hoffman and Mason Lang each had two hits. Polizzi had three RBIs for the Zap. Oahe had built a 5-0 lead with a four run third and another run in the fourth, but couldn’t score in the late innings to try and help secure a win.

Oahe drops to 9-7 in the second half of the season with the loss. The Zap conclude the home portion of the series tonight with first pitch at 6:05 before traveling to Spearfish and playing a single game on the road at 7:05 on Saturday.
