The Oahe Zap found themselves down 4-3 heading into the bottom of the fifth, but scored four runs to help run the winning streak to four with an 11-6 win over the Bison.
Aiden Johnson and Buck Snabes each would double as Johnson and Noah Wiggins each had three hits and Johnson had the team high three RBIs in the win as nearly every Zap player in the lineup had a hit with 16 in total. Emiliano Curiel-Montijo had two RBIs for the Zap who improve to 6-6 in the second half of the season and now 11-28 overall in the summer. Johnson would tie the game in the fifth with his double and Wiggins would get the go ahead single to put the Zap ahead for good. The Zap pitching staff would have four pitchers throw and allow six runs combined, but only one of the six runs were earned. Angel Escobar would get the win in relief throwing in the top of the fifth allowing just a hit and a walk with a strikeout.
Oahe will finish its season series with the Bison on Friday looking to go a perfect 5-0 against them. First pitch is at 6:05. The Zap will have Saturday and Sunday off before facing Spearfish at home on Monday.
