Saturday, the Pierre Little League will be trying to punch their ticket back to the state tournament with the Sub-District 1 tournament held at Griffin Park.
Pierre will be the host team again for the Sub-District with the state tournament again held in Rapid City this year. It will be a three game round robin tournament with the top two teams of Pierre, Sioux Falls and Huron advancing to the state tournament. This is the first step to making it to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania which is the marquee World Series for Little League shown on ESPN. The Little League roster for 2024 is John Boes, Chisum Brakke, Jett Brakke, Carter Dokken, Griffin Freeman, Kane Hand, Henry Janes, Kingston Massa, Jax Newcomer, Aksel Nordvold and Connor Peschong.
