The Oahe Zap would be swept at home by both Casper and Hastings this weekend falling on Sunday 10-2 and finishing the homestand at 2-4.
The Zap had four errors in the loss and the pitching staff would allow three unearned runs, but the big innings would be the sixth and ninth. Hastings would score five runs in the sixth as the first four guys reached base and extend the lead out to 7-0. Mason Lang would homer in the bottom of the sixth to leadoff the inning, but the Zap could only muster five hits in the fourth straight loss. Buck Snabes also doubled and Leandro Guevara would score on a wild pitch as the Zap’s other run.
Since starting 2-0 to the second half of the season, the Zap are now 2-4. Oahe has the day off before traveling to Casper starting a quick two game set on Tuesday.
