The annual Nebraska Huskers wrestling camp will be back in Ft. Pierre next week on Monday and Tuesday feature the head coach and a Nebraska wrestler.
The camp for kindergarten to sixth graders will help young wrestlers learn many basic skills, techniques and holds allowing them to have fun with the sport as well as helping them be successful.
The camp for grades 7-12 is geared to learning and perfecting the techniques and holds to be successful on any level. There will be drills and hard work in all areas and can expect to leave the camp learning a great deal, allowing yourself to refine the techniques you learn over the summer and have better success next season.
Head Coach Mark Manning and wrestler Lenny Pinto will be on hand to run the camp. Manning is a two time conference coach of the year and was the world team coach and Olympic coach in 2012 and 2016. He was the world coach of the year in 2011 and has coached 67 All-Americans and six national individual champions.
The camp is Monday and Tuesday from 9:00-11:00 for kindergarten through sixth grades and 1:00-3:00 for grades 7-12. Registration begins at 8:15 on Monday for those who have not preregistered and it will be $65.00 for those who have not. You can see the sheet and print out the sheet for registration below.
