Pierre Post 8 will be looking for its first wins of the season and do so against a South Dakota opponent who has struggled out of the gates with Rapid City Post 320 in Rapid City.
The Eights are 0-6 to start the season and started to find the bats in the second game loss to the Mandan Chiefs pounding out 10 hits with six doubles. Tonight, Pierre will be looking to keep the bats going when they take on the Rapid City Post 320 Stars who have been slow out of the gates. The Stars are 2-27 on the season with its only South Dakota win against Sturgis and have dropped 10 straight including going 0-4 against Aberdeen on the road on Thursday and Friday last week. The Stars are 1-16 in South Dakota games. Rapid City is susceptible to giving up plenty of runs giving up an average of 13 runs per game.
