The Augustana Vikings would be eliminated by Central Missouri on Saturday as the Vikings lost both games to the Mules with a 13-2 loss in the Regional Final.
Central Missouri would score two runs in the second and the game winning run in the third to take a 3-0 lead. Luke Ballweg would double home a run in the sixth, but the Vikings only made it 10-1 and when Ballweg scored on a wild pitch it moved the score to 12-2 in the bottom of the eighth. Aguie was out hit 15-6 in the loss and Central Missouri scored 10 plus runs against the Vikings in both games of the Regional. Central Missouri advances to the Super Regional later this week.
The Vikings season ends at 47-10.
