The Potter County Battlers would host four area schools and a total of 19 teams on Thursday to close out the regular season and set for the state championships.
Sully Buttes
The Sully Buttes Chargers would pick up a single individual win with Olivia Olson setting a new PR in the 300 meter hurdles winning the event. Olson was also second in the 200 meters while Aticus Miles would place third in the javelin and Gavin Barber also third in the 400 meters.
Stanley County
The Stanley County Buffaloes would get its best finish from Brianna Sargent placing second in the 400 meters. The team of Paxton Deal, Noah Baldwin, Landon Bame and Colton Brady would place third in the 4×100 relay race while Spencer Sargent would be fourth in the 800 meters. Raegan Taylor was fifth in both the triple jump and long jump for the Buffs.
Potter County
Host Potter County would finish with five wins on the day as Nicholas Schlachter would get two wins in the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Emma Schlachter would win the 400 meter run and the 4×400 relay race with Dannika Kaup, Jaydn Ahlemeier and Finlee Heien. Kayden Cronin would also win the triple jump.
Highmore-Harrold
Aitor Oretega would get the lone win for the Highmore Harrold Pirates winning the high jump. Ortega was also thid in the 110 meter hurdles and fourth in the 300 meter hurdles. Autumn Fallis would place fourth in the 800 meter run and fifth in the 300 meter hurdles.
