The Pierre Governor softball team once again had a game postponed as Monday’s home contest against Harrisburg has been postponed to Friday, May 17.
The Governors and Tigers now will play at Sherman Park in Sioux Falls on that Friday instead of playing at the Riggs Softball Field. Pierre loses a home game, but as the season is winding down and to get most of the games, it’s an unfortunate reality. The Governors will play two games on the Friday now starting with Harrisburg at 12:00 and then followed by the Roosevelt game with both being played at Sherman Park.
The Governors next game is this Friday, at home against the Jefferson Cavaliers. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 at Riggs Softball Field.
