RELIANCE, (KCCR) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol says two men have died in a crash on Interstate 90 in Lyman County. The crash happened Monday around 7:45 pm two miles west of Reliance. The preliminary investigation indicates a Ford F-350 pick up was traveling the wrong way down the interstate west in the eastbound lanes, when an eastbound semi struck the pick up in a head-on crash. A 38 year-old man was driving the pick up at the time. The 59 year-old driver of the Kenworth semi was transported to the Sanford Chamberlain Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The names of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family.
