The Potter County Battlers will have its chance at revenge against the Leola/Frederick Titans tonight traveling to Northwestern High School in a Class B SoDak 16 contest.
The two teams met back on December 19 when the Titans won 72-41 rolling past the Battlers in Leola. At the time, the Battlers fell to 2-2 while Leola/Frederick improved to 5-0. Since then, the Titans haven’t slowed down at 21-1 with the only loss coming to Faulkton Area. Leola/Frederick has won nine in a row since the loss. Potter County, though, is chugging right along too. The Battlers have won four straight and nine of the last 11 to reach the SoDak 16 for the 6-11 matchup. Seniors Carter Luikens, Sean Seurer, Ryder Falkenhagen and Chance Smith want the shot to play in Aberdeen at the State B tournament one more time.
Tip off from Northwestern High School is scheduled for 6:00 tonight.
