FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) –The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. The Council will hear reports from city officials before considering a short, five item agenda. The Council will consider approval of a siren service contract with Frontline Warning Systems and an easement with West River/Lyman Jones Rural Water System. A public hearing will be set for a temporary liquor license request filed by the Casey Tibbs Foundation for the Match of Champions event on June 1st at the Stanley County Fairgrounds. The Council will also consider repair proposals with insurance for damage done to Fort Volunteer and to give authorization to advertise for part-time summer staff.
