PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. It’s another short agenda for the Commission with only three items for consideration. Commissioners will consider approval of a five item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the February 20th meeting, claims, two water department employee changes and a raffle request filed by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In a lone item of unfinished business, the Commission will award a bid for the Slurry Seal surface treatment project. There are two items of new business on the agenda. Commissioners will consider a request to bid for 2024 street paving projects and will give an introduction to a plat request in Specker’s Resubdivision in Hughes County. Commissioners will wrap up the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
