The Stanley County Buffaloes would travel to Bennett County on Monday to face the Warriors in a game from the Jones County Tournament and the Buffs would walk away with a 67-39 win.
Stanley County led 38-23 at the end of the first half and had gotten the lead up to 26 after three quarters with a 60-34 advantage. The lead would reach thirty in the fourth quarter to get the running clock enacted to speed up the final minutes and get the Buffaloes extra rest both on the clock and reserves coming into the game. The win pushes Stanley County to a 10-7 record with a big game looming next Tuesday when they travel to face the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers. Bennett County falls to 3-8 on the season with the loss.
Stanley County will be off until next week Tuesday when the girls and boys travel to Mobridge for the doubleheader against the Tigers.
