FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — Could the Fort Pierre City Council start their bi-monthly meetings early? It was a conversation started by Alderman Larry Cronin at this week’s Council meeting…
Cronin also suggested possibly changing the meeting times to fit Daylight Savings Time changes. The Fort Pierre City Council meets currently at 6:30 pm on the first and third Mondays of the month. Mayor Gloria Hanson says the change would be good for city staff who attend the meetings…
The idea seemed to have support from other members of the Council…
No action was taken on a possible change. City Attorney Naomi Cromwell will research what needs to happen to change the meeting’s start time and formal action could come at a future meeting.
